Mt Olive Township is getting ready
to stop your Volunteer Emergency Medical Services.
After more than 50 years of responding to the needs of their sick, hurt and scared neighbors, the mayor wants to eliminate these proud and necessary services to save what he estimates is $250,000 a year. He would replace them with a paid service that would charge users more than $400 each time an ambulance is called out and you the residence would be charged whether you have insurance or not!
The $250,000 that the Budd Lake and Flanders squads would be budgeted for costs less that $10 a year per person for state of the art professional EMS and other services.
Call Town Hall at 973-691-0900 - email or write the Town Council members and tell them you support Mt. Olive's rescue squads and they should too!
We need residents to voice their concern to Town
Council members and to the Mayor, today!
